150 school meals: US$45
It’s hard to learn on an empty stomach, and lack of dietary diversity in childhood can lead to stunting and an increased susceptibility to illness. $45 can fund 150 school meals to help students thrive. Your donations help us provide more than 80,000 meals each year.
Annual medical supplies for 10 students: US$80
Malaria and typhoid make a child weak for days, if not weeks, and can have lasting effects on growing bodies. $300 can buy a month of medical supplies for our school clinic, to meet the immediate health needs of our students.
1-year scholarship: US$375
Drop-out rates are high in Liberia, and are highest among female students at senior high level. Your support could ensure one dedicated student graduates.
SCIENCE LABORATORY
US$12,000
Only a tiny portion of Liberian schools have functioning science laboratories (and until recently, very few universities!), making it almost impossible for students who want to pursue STEM careers to excel in their chosen field.
We have a classroom available to convert, but need a further USD 12,000 to complete and fit-out the space with concrete workbenches, running water, gas lines and electrical connections, so that more of our students fall in love with science.
